Socceroos and Sydney FC star Grant tests positive for COVID-19 | VinceRugari

Sydney FC’s player availability problems have deepened after Socceroo Rhyan Grant returned a positive test for COVID-19, ruling him out of both training and matches for the next two weeks.

“No further players or staff members have reported any symptoms, however they have all taken tests to be sure. “Our medical team have been in regular contact with the player in question and have been providing advice. With no fixtures rescheduled at this stage or any other players affected, the biggest impact of Grant’s positive test may be that it robs coach Steve Corica of a key player for 14 days of self-isolation at a difficult time of the season.
