James Valentine has fallen victim to one of the classic blunders: to think the things you're most familiar with are 'so rich, so varied, so complex', but the things you're least familiar with (like the past, other people, other societies) are as simple as a stereotype.

Was watching Googlebox last night. ABC comedy duo GetKrackin appeared. Only 1 person out of 20 ppl watching recognised them. And they hadn't watched their program. According to the ABC they are one of Australia's most outstanding comedy acts. Said no one else ever.
