7 months is ridiculously low , 10 years would be more appropriate. it relays the fact that human life has very little value. the court has got this VERY WRONG

Some amongst us are so detached from care for others whilst engaged in digital activities, they need mandatory prison to re-engage with humanity.

This mean you know how to kill a person with minimum cost. 🤡

7 months is not enough for killing someone

Inadequate

....And he had Marijuana in his system....I watch these sentences so often & wonder what judges would set if replace 'car' for 'gun' both can be used safely but guessing if was gun killing pedestrian - more like 7 years?! (& National News) justice

RoadSafetyWA looks like lots of folks agree you're not doing your job, in fact you're busy doing nothing. How do we know? Simple the stats prove it. Plus this case, what are you doing? Time to give up? We think so!

7 months?! If you ever want to kill someone, run them over and tell the cops you were distracted.

Regulators must take some blame........done nothing in 20 years to stop the practice. Most drivers do it. Smart shifty ones get a darker tint on their windows.

Who doesn't know driving and using the phone is high risk and very dangerous. That's right, everybody knows including this guy. So this is murder because he knew exactly what he was doing but he did it anyway. 7 MONTHS FOR MURDER IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Not right. The law is wrong in alot of cases. But use the wrong words your in shit. Not right

yeahnah

Kills a person and his punishment is 7 months, disgusting

But yet you get 1 year in jail if you break isolation SMH

That's a fucking joke. A life for a life, is fair

Byclemore Tragic. And the killer is suspended from driving for a measly 6 months and fined $400! You get fined more for parking in a clearway. This is beyond a joke.

Human life very cheap

Can’t be right

Not enough.

Straya

clearly inadequate sentence life for a life

Is that all a human is worth these day’s? 7 months is nothing compared to the lifetime of pain for the family.

What happens if you break the government's self-isolation orders after arriving in Australia?People breaching self-isolation could be hit with steep fines or jail time. A suggestion...buy stocks in private prison companies. I was thinking about an immunocompromised relative. How to protect her? At least, I feel peaceful now 🦋 Imagine poor people who can't afford to take time off work as the government doesn't want to assist it's people (just businesses) and getting a fine or jail time. Australia is garbage.

Elderly and disabled to get dedicated shopping hours at Woolworths, online delivery suspendedWoolworths stores will begin a dedicated hour for vulnerable members of the community on Tuesday, as the supermarket suspends its home delivery service due to 'extraordinary' demand Good Doesn't that put a lot of high risk folks in one place at the same time? What about those who cannot get to the supermarket because of disability? Perhaps Woolworths can add an online shopping option only for those who cannot go to the supermarket in person due to disability. Unfortunately that will mean policing these requests.
