Serial cop spitter Leilani Clarke guilty of serious assault

It is the 21-year-old’s fifth time for offences against officers, which previously included kneeing an officer in the testicles, calling police “white dogs” and calling a policewoman a “white c***”.

Adjourning the sentencing hearing until July, Ms Kennedy told Clarke, “I am not setting you up to fail” and ordered a mental health report from Justice Health. When a police patrol stopped to intervene it is alleged Ms Clarke “kept rambling ‘I don’t know what happened. I just want to go … yes, I am drunk in a public place’.”

She then kicked the second female officer “in the groin causing immediate pain”, and a male constable in the stomach. Clarke placed an unopened Butter Chicken Curry meal worth $7 in her brown satchel handbag, while one of the men placed a Big Bite hotdog down his jeans.
