Security has been beefed up in the days before the AFL Grand Final, with a record number of police hitting the streets to keep footy fans, revelers and the general public safe.

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has urged the public to “behave themselves” as the football season reaches fever pitch. “If you play up, it’s not a matter of if you get caught - when you get caught - you will feel the full force of the law.”
