NSW Shadow Resources Minister Tania Mihailuk says the removal of speed camera warning signs on the state’s roads was a “cash grab” by the government.

Speed camera warning signs could be set to return on NSW roads after an inquiry found speeding fines have skyrocketed by over $20 million after the signs were removed in 2020.

“Everybody is in agreement – the NRMA, the former Roads Minister Duncan Gay has told the government they’ve got to put the signs back on,” Ms Mihailuk told Sky News host Chris Smith.

What a stupid comment - Vic has never had signs and the speeding morons keep on donating to the Government by the $1,000’s. Of course it a bloody money grabbing exercise. Put signs up, everybody slows down, no income - let’s put the taxes up!
