BREAKING: A Scottish court has ruled Boris Johnson's suspension of Parliament is unlawful, but did not order it to be reversed.

But many lawmakers fear a no-deal Brexit would be economically devastating, and are determined to stop him.But he has few easy ways out of it. His options - all of them extreme - include disobeying the law, which could land him in court or even prison, and resigning so that someone else would have to ask for a delay.Johnson acknowledged on Monday that a no-deal Brexit "would be a failure of statecraft" for which he would be partially to blame.

The EU says Britain has not produced any concrete proposals for replacing the contentious "backstop," a provision in the withdrawal agreement reached by Johnson's predecessor Theresa May that is designed to ensure an open border between EU member Ireland and the UK's Northern Ireland. German Chancellor Angela Merkel says an orderly departure of Britain from the European Union remains possible, less than two months before the deadline.

Merkel told lawmakers Wednesday that "it's my firm conviction that we still have a chance to achieve this in an orderly way". But she noted that Germany is also prepared for a Brexit without a deal that will result in "an economic competitor at our door."-With wires

You are kidding me aren't you, this is a country that have had a vote for self determination over and over, and the Yes vote has been voted down again and again, but, now they want to rule on the suspension of the UK Parliament as unlawful. Geez, what wankers.

😂😂😂😂

Court cannot order parliament to reverse an order but other parliamentarians can use a court decision to do so. You're welcome for the free research.
