After the federal government announced a 14-day quarantine period on Christmas Island for Australians in China, the prime minister has been heavily criticised for his governments decisions.
Mr Emerson told Sky News host Jane Marwick said as the crisis gets “worse and worse” the government’s decision “looks like a far more sensible decision”. Fellow panelist and WA Today’s Nathan Hondros said the prime minister has “learnt a bit from what happened before Christmas” when he subject to intense scrutiny over his personal handling of the bushfire crisis. “He’s not mucking around,” Mr Hondros said.
