Her comments have been discredited by statistics which show justWomen’s Legal Services Australia, which represents more than a dozen women’s legal services around the country, has urged family law courts to strengthen their response to family violence and provide effective legal help for disadvantaged clients.

“We’ve had two inquiries over the past three years, not one of which has had any recommendations implemented or acknowledged,” Ms Batty said. “We see family report writers saying ‘The child gave the father a hug so obviously there’s no fear there’. Batty is a lying fraud. Crazy agenda will not help anyone

Not all abuse is physical. Ladies

No there should be a totally independent Domestic Violence law court ... family law is not knowledgeable about this subject but lawyers pretend they are ... I should know I was duped by one pretending to know domesticviolence law auspol

First they would have to admit that intimate partner abuse other than physical assault is a real thing. Accepting that sometimes victims don't call the police, and absence of a police report does not mean the physical assault didn't happen either, would also be beneficial.

NSW Treasurer 'frustrated' by federal leaders 'shooting down' tax reform debateNSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet wants an expanded GST discussed to improve state government services, but he is unlikely to win any support from Canberra. Much safer to make other tax changes instead, literally no one notices them and they are not forced to give the revenue to states. .... by “tax reform “... do they mean the 2500 multinationals that syphon a trillion dollars out of the country without paying a cent of tax .... will start paying 30 cents on the dollar ? yeah tax the proletariat until their eyes bleed; never mind the thousands each month having their electricity cut off even now!
