Robert Hatfield hasn't told his family he has volunteered to let scientists infect him with COVID-19 as part of a world-first study.
If they pass health and suitability criteria, they'll live in a clinic for a fortnight in January, so they can be carefully monitored. Peter Openshaw, a professor of Experimental Medicine at Imperial College, said administering the virus would be remarkably simple."We can continuously monitor the viral load, almost hour by hour, and just see at what point we can detect the virus actually replicating in the nose."(
then this is a biased study..you need to infect all age group to be verified the safety and efficacy across the age group..looks like the vaccine still not ready. the other groups are ahead at this stage.
“However, he said young, healthy volunteers should be able to make up their own minds, and that denying them the opportunity could be unethical in itself.” The same applies to a vaccine. Especially one not tested for long term adverse effects
Kudos to you sir, for doing your part. May you come out the other side with full health. Amen.
Oh no he’s going to have fatigue and a sore throat maybe a runny nose as well. Sounds like a cold to ME! Oh it’s a sneaky virus I’d be careful!
Robert is a twit

COVID-19 cocktail turned Trump into 'Superman'President Donald Trump told a rally in Nevada he felt "like Superman" after doctors gave him a COVID-19 antibody cocktail called Regeneron. Bad road to go down. Sure his base loves it, but he already owns his base, the problem is he is bleeding white suburban women voters and older voters due to his chaotic pandemic responses. Bragging rather than showing empathy for those who suffered is going to lose more. More like the joker
