“People that weren’t hospitalised can still have problems breathing. Well atleast there will be more research and understanding now with many of the conditions already present in some people before covid who were told it was all in their head. The autonomic system is effectively attacked by this virus which results in its failure.

I had cytomegalovirus in March and I’m still not fully recovered. No ones doing any studies on that!!!

Coulds and maybes it's a typical Monday morning for the media

I had the same long term symptoms for months after having the flu in 2011... Dr gave me Budesonide and I was clear in a couple of days...

Quickly spread more stories people aren’t scared anymore... dumb

It’s another way of making people not go anywhere or they’ll end up like them

The first thing St Vincent's Hospital offered me, when I went into ED, was an antipsychotic by the name Olanzapine. It's side effects alone, would trigger this response in someone already weakened by an autoimmune disease. Do some real journalism, surely!

More fear porn. Just stop.

Fear mongering by the government using health workers to spread misinformation. Fact : Health workers are responsible for 18,000 deaths by medical mishaps every year. Fact : Doctors at St.Vincents Sydney Responsible for thousands of deaths because of reckless behaviour. Medical

One look at Dutton makes that clear. He looks even more unusually unwell.

They can’t even determine the difference between died with and died of. Bit yearly to be making long term claims.

Why is there never a figure attached as to the number of people who have ongoing symptoms? I've read its about 1 in 200. Stop fearmongering.

This is not a revelation, we've known this for nearly the past 6 months. So they've arrived finally to the same findings as all the other countries who have been reporting this for a long time now, well done!

6 months is not long enough to start making such claims, and only 1 case as data. It takes years of data history and thousands of subject cases to even come close to making such assertions. FakeNews
