CLP Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price says it isn’t exactly clear what the idea of Queensland’s Indigenous “truth-telling” inquiry is and the need to set up another bureaucracy that will require funding.

“It doesn’t outline what the practical outcomes of this is going to mean for Indigenous Queenslanders going forward,” she told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“I’m still trying to wrap my head around this idea that you have a treaty with your very own citizens and how that’s supposed to work.”

I guess truth telling isn’t typical of Ms Price’s lexicon.

The past was always going to catch up, face it with responsibility.

Her Government has placed more ABORIGINAL Children into Adult jails than anyone else..Care about ABORIGINAL Children like hell you do ..

It's such hypocrisy when we have a Premier who likes to skirt around the truth an only tell her version of 'the truth'!

COVID-19 lockdown patrols 'triggered fear and trauma' among refugees and asylum seekers, inquiry hearsPolice and military on the streets at the height of COVID-19 lockdowns traumatised refugees and asylum seekers who had fled war-torn countries and didn't understand what was happening, an inquiry has been told. I’m sorry but it traumatised everyone. Including the People police were brutalising. Australia persecuted the unvaccinated and dissenters, it’s been absolutely horrendous. I live in one of these 12 areas. It was helicopters all day every day and into the night. It was psychological warfare. Designed to terrify people into complying. I understood alright, they were trying to scare the hell out of us. This country is not free. They traumatised everyone - like toddlers while their parents were arrested for not wearing masks and women who they brutally assaulted on the streets. Haven't you seen all the footage?
