Queensland Health authorities investigating claims overseas traveller infected with UK COVID-19 strain visited hospital

Health authorities have confirmed the woman had been allowed to accompany her father who had a medical complaint, on compassionate grounds, in an ambulance and in full PPE to hospital.

A Queensland Government spokesman said the woman returned to quarantine at the Grand Chancellor in an ambulance in full PPE, as per health protocols, on Monday night. Just hours after the woman went back to her "quarantine bubble", the duo were formally notified they were carrying the mutant UK strain of COVID-19.

By placing travellers in quarantine camps perhaps this may deter & help the Covid19 situation.

The circus just gets better everyday . Bunch of clowns.

Why are we reporting on the family's ethnicity?

Well this is the issue. Hotels in densely populated cities not designed, bulk or staffed as infectious disease quarantine stations eg ‘not be confident all guests stayed inside their rooms during the 14-day isolation’ QLD Premiers idea of remote quarantine out of cities is sound

I predict before the end of this year if we don't deviate from our current course it will be illegal to criticise Government or Government policies online or in public. Anyone critical of Government or their policy will be branded as a 'Domestic Terrorist' Sounds crazy right?

Keep trusting Government because they've been doing such a great job so far. LOL

KenNwater QLD govt have a few questions to answer here

I thought, if you contracted COVIDー19 when in hotelquarantine in Qld . You were sent to a hospital and had to stay there until you were better or negative test. qldhealthnews

Sooooooo........we can't travel between states but scottyfromarketing keeps letting overseas travellers into the country. You can't have it both ways.

And now the excuses begin.

Queensland Health identifies two 'distinct' COVID clusters | Sky News AustraliaQueensland health authorities have identified two distinct COVID-19 clusters as eight additional cases were recorded overnight \n\nSix of the new locally-acquired cases are linked, while the other two under investigation. \n\nChief Health Officer Dr Jeanette Young detailed the genomic sequencing of the new infections, confirming the two under investigation were potentially linked to an older case. \n\nShe said genomic sequencing identified there were two separate clusters, one relating back to a doctor who contracted the virus treating a positive patient at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. \n\nFive of the six locally acquired cases overnight, however, were linked to a second cluster stemming from a nurse – who authorities believed contracted the virus while working at the PA Hospital. \n\nDr Young said the nurse’s sister also became infected, and all new cases linked to the cluster had all attended a party down in Byron Bay – taking the case total in the second cluster to seven. \n\nAuthorities said testing indicated the sixth community case detected overnight was also linked to a known case. \n\n“So we don’t have community transmission out there that we’re not aware of, at the moment all of our cases are linked to either the first cluster with that doctor who worked at the PA or this second cluster which is a brand new cluster, unrelated to that first cluster linked to the nurse who’s worked at PA,” Dr Young said. \n VIRALEZE is a groundbreaking nasal spray that inactivates 99.9% of the virus that causes COVID-19. • Developed by Australian company Starpharma_ASX Regulatory approval in both Europe & the UK. • Launch commenced with Lloyds Pharmacy, the 2nd largest pharmacy chain in the UK.

Queensland Health confirms one historical COVID-19 case | Sky News AustraliaQueensland health authorities have confirmed a historical coronavirus case which was in close contact to the so-called “super-spreader” event in Byron Bay last month. \n\nChief Health Officer Dr Jeanette Young announced the person is a recovered case and it was likely they acquired the infection while down in Byron. \n\nThe case also quarantined at home during the entirety of their infectious period and so posed no risk to the community. \n\n“There is no need to change any of our policy positions, it just shows a significant super spreader event at that part which we suspected all along,” Dr Young said. \n This is embarrassing Byron Bay are onto the scam and that's why they hjave new cases - here's the jist. ANY area that seems to be onto the scam will be then shown to be a naughty area and covid-19 cases will be declared in that area, making them look like a bad lot for even questioning the narrative.
