Chief Health Officer, Dr John Gerrard said the three people who lost their lives were all unvaccinated.The state conducted 43,913 tests in the last 24-hour period, while vaccination coverage is sitting at 91.41 per cent and 88.35 per cent are fully vaccinated.Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced three more people have lost their lives on FridayOf those 41 patients in ICU, 15 are ventilated. The figure is up from 586 recorded yesterday, with an increase in ICU from 26.

“The increases are across Queensland in all regions. There seems to be particular growth in Brisbane south of the river - that’s where most of the growth is occuring at the moment.”AAPThe state is expected to hit its 90 per cent double vaccination milestone as early as next week. “We are still wanting to make sure that only fully vaccinated people are entering those venues and those events that are more likely to see fast transmission happening,” she said.
