Police search Sydney park for guns in underworld figure’s murder investigation | daniellamariewh

Police have begun searching a south-west Sydney park as they continue to investigate the murder of underworld figure Mejid Hamzy and hunt for two men accused of killing him.

A 38-year-old man has previously been charged with Mr Hamzy’s murder, accused of helping organise the killing and drive a getaway vehicle in the ambush. About 7.35am, the two men run south across Colechin Reserve, Yagoona, when the hood worn by one of the men falls momentarily, revealing his distinctive blond hair.A short time later, two men are seen walking together through Kelso Park South carpark towards Marco Avenue.

“We think these people may live close by the area, or at the very least they’re familiar with the area around Deepwater Park,” Detective Superintendent Chris Goddard said.

daniellamariewh So, not to be pedantic but 1) Deep water is in Milperra, not Panania and 2) the soccer club is Panania RSL, not Kelso Park soccer club

daniellamariewh With a bit of luck these amateurs will wipe each other out whilst serious criminals like pfizer make billions
