These arsonists should be charged with attempted murder. They just don’t care if anyone is hurt or killed by the fires they start

Omg thank goodness he’s been charged what a moron

Don't lock him away our tax payers money will have to feed him. A bullet is much cheaper

Its a terrorist act and should be treated as such.

Considering people have died in the fires, I should imagine a case can be made for charging him with attempted murder. Alternatively if his motives were political, perhaps with terrorism charges, using fire to effect political change.

Let him burn

Now lets throw him in there no courts

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE

could it be politically motivated? climate change is the hot topic.

Capital punishment is viable option

push him in the bloody fire

darren_nell ABC caught fanning the flames .

LOCK THEM UP AND THROW THE KEY AWAY !!!

mongrel

So one of the enlightened generation. Perhaps before he “enlightened young” start bagging boomers they should make sure they’ve got their own generation in “order”..

Lock him up for the entire summer. Should be mandatory.

Put him in jail and make the parents pay for all the homes lost and any other loss. It will wreck there lives just like what their kid has done. They might take parenting more seriously. Someone has to pay for the damage this kid has caused.

Can we charge this man too? auspol

Push him in there

Toss pot......

There needs to be a serious upgrading of charges relating to lighting fires in bushland. Arsonists know they cause extensive property damage and multiple loss of lives. So why not treat this as attempted murder and manslaughter along with long prison terms as discouragement.

Great job nswpolice now GladysB please make sure arsonists do hard time No more soft justice NSWfires nswpol auspol

If I have said it once I have said it twice, don’t call your son Climate Change! 😡 🙃

Greens supporter? Fanning the 'climate change' narrative?

Why doesn't Hugh Marks use his contacts as a Liberal Party fundraiser over the 'your right to know' campaign

Wanted to come to the news maybe

Bloody unreal.

What the heck is wrong with him

Thats sick

Police say firebugs will be 'put before a court'Two people have been charged after allegedly impersonating firefighters on Tuesday, as police work to respond to “hundreds” of calls to Crime Stoppers in relation to the fires. Yes they should. Whatever the age. Why let kids off with a warning is beyond stupid. I think they might be missing the point. The climate allowed for the fires to be as big as they are. Stop selling coal you idiots. I think it’s time we consider stewardship as a component of GDP. Criminal negligence by auspol and nswpol ignoring all the warnings they were given about the catastrophic conditions is the real issue. They had the power to do something...so they cut fire service funding. They’re criminals and murderers, just as liable NSWbushfires
