A 54-year-old woman, also from Gawler South, has been arrested for an alleged assault that happened at the home on Thursday night.
Senior Constable Rebecca Stokes said Major Crime detectives and crime scene investigators will return to the house this morning. "The women are believed to be known to each other and this does not appear to be a random incident," she said.Multiple neighbours said she was a friendly woman but there was often trouble at the property with police being called on a regular basis.
Police are asking for anyone who saw or heard any activity on Seventh Street or has any dashcam or CCTV footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
