Prime Minister Scott Morrison has urged parents to ignore George Christensen, a member of his own government, after labelling the member for Dawson’s calls for them not to immunise their children as “dangerous”.
“It is contrary to the official professional medical advice provided to the government, and I urge parents to disregard his dangerous messages in relation to vaccines.” Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese said the inaction was a “failure of leadership” on the part of the Prime Minister. Mr Christensen’s Nationals partyroom colleague Darren Chester went further than the Prime Minister, calling out the “reckless” claim, which he described as “just more of the same conspiracy theory crap”.
But still needs his vote🤔

Well, it’s far too late for Morrison to act - he does nothing until it’s too little too late. The damage has been done long before now. What’s the point of addressing this now? Is it because internal polling saying he’s headed down the toilet?
Tells us more about the mentality of his constituents. They have the chance to vote George out soon and rectify their error of judgement.
At this point in the game no serious person is basing their personal jab decision on any opinions of a politician. Just more theatre and junk to feed the addicts.
The Australian Government needs to make up its mind as to what message it wants to communicate. Right now it sending out both pro-vax and anti-vax messages in the hope of appealing to all.

A real leader would have demanded Mr Christensen resign, a real leader would have said there is no place for anyone like this in his government or in any public position, but a weak cowardly leader would have done exactly what Morrison just did, which is essentially nothing
If Morrison was serious about this, Christensen would be on a plane back home to Manila at 6am.
But he won’t disregard his vote when trying to get legislation through parliament that discrimates against gay teachers
