Sky News host rowandean has urged ScottMorrisonMP to jettison his proposed round table on industrial relations reform and instead honour his election promise of delivering “smaller government, less regulation and lower taxes.”

Sky News host Rowan Dean has urged Prime Minister Scott Morrison to jettison his proposed round table on industrial relations reform and instead honour his election promise of delivering “smaller government, less regulation, lower taxes, crushing the unions and freeing up the job market.

” This week the Prime Minister announced the Coalition will bring together unions, business groups and employers to discuss what changes can be made to industrial relations laws, in a move that was reminiscent of Labor PM Bob Hawke’s 1983 Prices and Incomes Accord. Sky News understands Mr Morrison has spoken with ACTU Secretary Sally McManus, who has expressed her desire to come to the table to get the deal done.

rowandean ScottMorrisonMP I do not agree with rowandean . The first step to making the boat go faster is to achieve consensus on the direction the boat is going and then jettison anything that is not needed , otherwise the headwinds will be too strong and the boat wont go fast enough.

rowandean ScottMorrisonMP if morrison took notice of every bit of advice from rowan dean the country would be well and truly f***. the guy has shown many times he's not all there in the head

Govt energy policy producing 'emissions reduction trifecta' | Sky News AustraliaEnergy Minister Angus Taylor says Australia is getting the 'trifecta' of lower gas prices, lower electricity prices and lower emissions as a result of the government's investment in 'technology not taxes'.\n\nThe latest data revealed Australia's emissions had decreased by 0.9 per cent, but factored COVID-19 and drought as contributors to the reduction. \n\n'The critical thing you see in the data is domestic emissions have been falling rapidly and for a long while. In fact, we've already beaten our 2030 target,' Mr Taylor said.\n\nMr Taylor ruled out increasing Australia's Paris targets arguing the existing target was 'strong' and would be beaten by '411 million tonnes'.\n\n'That's essentially a year's worth of emissions. We set a target and we beat it.'\n\n'We think gas is an important part of the mix. Despite the US leaving the Paris Agreement, their emissions are coming down rapidly and that's because of gas.'\n\nImage: News Corp Australia\n\n AngusTaylorMP we have so much gas in this country, how is it they run this 'energy market' scheme and drive prices up when there is no shortage? essential services should be regulated and run as a benefit to society. also emissions have been going up from our coal AND gas producers. AngusTaylorMP Emissions? Who is measuring all the volcanoes, including those unknown undersea? What a load of croc. By all means live a waste free, anti consumption life but to these big $making dirty ‘green’ industries don’t be impoverishing all of us! Thanks AngusTaylorMP What a load of bullshit. Electricity and gas prices have not gone down. Even when the wholesale price has dropped, the retail price hasn't, and with some retailers it has even risen under Taylor. He is a compulsive liar, but scarily seems to believe his own lies, bloody grub.

US failure to recognise 'systemic racism' hinders progress | Sky News AustraliaSky News contributor Jason Israel says there isn't a clear recognition of 'systemic racism' in the United States and argues this has hindered the reparation of past hurt among the African American community.\n\n'Opponents of that term say it means everybody in the system is racist which may not be the case. It actually means the system we've developed over the last 100 years has been unequitable for minorities,' Mr Israel said.\n\n'If people can't even just recognise that, then they can't even begin to address the problem which in one way is manifesting itself in Minneapolis.'\n\n'In my hometown of Baltimore, there were laws that didn't allow black soldiers coming back from WWII, even with the G.I. Bill, to get a home loan that white people did. That's just over 70 years ago.'\n\nImage: AP\n\n Complete BS. What’s holding the USA back is any and all discussion of race, as propagated by the left. Only one side of politics recognise you because of the colour of your skin, while the other judges you on the content of your character. While people label on skin colour it will never be united. People who never owned slaves shouldn't pay people when weren't slaves. What does the MN Police manual say about using a knee restraint to the neck of a person being arrested? Training: For whom, when, how, duration, checking the condition of the restrained person, key do's & dont's, etc. Clearly, the MN officer got this entirely wrong, why?
