Victoria’s opposition planning spokesman Tim Smith has said “the city has to provide for all road users” after the City of Melbourne released its Transport Strategy 2030.

The strategy includes a plan to prioritise pedestrians, cyclists and public transport users in a bid to take 50,000 cars off CBD

roads each day. “People are fully within their rights to choose how they get to work in the morning and most want to drive,” he said.

TimSmithMP Which means ‘The City of Melbourne is deplorably out of touch with the desires of the vast majority of Melbournians’

I spent some time in Melbourne two years ago...you people have no idea how bad your roads are...did derelicts plan your city and roads, certainly not qualified engineers. Your government is not working for you, in other ways too! Time for you to bring in a guy like Trump!

Yep they all pay car registration 🤔

Prioritize 'pedestrians, cyclists and public transport users?' This is discrimination against people with disability who depend on cars because they can not use Public transport OR Walk! The Labor/Greens/Andrews Thugs+City of Melbourne are in for a LEGAL DISCRIMINATION Awakening

This is discrimination against people with disability who depend on cars/drivers because they can not use Public transport OR walk

With this idiocy CBD’s will become gridlocked. A quick trip to LA would reveal the fallacy of this thinking.

'People need to listen to their instincts': Background checks spark multiple interventionsBackground checks on people suspected of having a history of domestic violence introduced in South Australia last year are already helping to save lives, a domestic violence support service says. 'Because while they may not have had an offence against them, they may be able to link that that person had those tendencies, but just hasn't been convicted yet.' WUT! Precrime? Idk... Can see both sides of this. My ex was an abusive shit, and with more publicity about DV, I guess it pays to know what u might be getting into. It is far better to be alone, than to be with someone who abuses you. My two cents... :-/ Wow Australia has so many perpetrators, this scheme needs to be funded forever and it should include interstate domestic violence perpetrators.
