One of the country's most prestigious Catholic boys' schools, St Kevin's College, is facing criticism after revelations it did not support a student victim during a child sex offence trial.

Victoria Police had already charged Kehoe with grooming for sexual conduct with a child under the age of 16 years.

When giving character evidence for Kehoe at the trial, Mr Travers was asked by the prosecution whether it was appropriate for a teacher or coach to send messages to a student saying"I love you" or"xxx".

Last year, Mr Russell wrote a letter to parents about another historical offender who had been a Christian Brother at the school, speaking of a"zero tolerance for child sexual abuse".Ned believes that statement is"incredibly hypocritical given what he did in 2015".

How many other boys were groomed by this pedephile over those 40 years

What does groomed mean? As in cutting hair grooming?

I wish I could do more for you Paris. I'm sorry you were continually let down by those in power at your school

Schools are meant to put the child’s safety and welfare first. There would be families with lots of money that are able to fight this. Not to minimise their experiences however my concerns are also for kids at public schools with no money. It’s a systemic problem.

So who paid for richter?

Excellent expose 4Corners Thx etc You deserve more funding

That principal needs to be sacked and charged .

this school is more toxic than chernobyl. and ive been to chernobyl...

Just watched 60Mins Epstein & that was cover up, protection to the max & original sentence pathetic! How long it took & how brave 1 particular victim was to not give up!
