Veterans’ Affairs Minister Darren Chester says the decision to cancel official Anzac services overseas is “disappointing”.
“This has been a decision which has been a long time in the making, we’ve been monitoring the situation overseas now for several months,” Mr Chester told Sky News. “It’s based on the health advice, obviously it’s disappointing. “At its heart … Anzac Day is really about personal reflection and a moment to respect all those who served.”
