Police say that one woman has been killed in a house fire in Kilcoy, with another tenant still unaccounted for.

Police say that one woman has been killed in a house fire in Kilcoy, north-west of Brisbane.Police are still trying to locate one tenantIt is understood there were several people living in the house and all have been accounted for except one tenant who police are trying to locate.

Police are unable to confirm if there was a second person who perished in the fire as they have been unable to access the home. Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said four crews responded to multiple triple zero calls around 2:15pm.Firefighters battled the blaze for more than an hour and were able to contain it within the house of origin.
