A Queensland nurse has been refused bail after he was charged with drugging and raping a woman in his Brisbane apartment, and stalking another.The court heard a woman was drugged before she was rapedThe 30-year-old man, who cannot be identified, was arrested yesterday and appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court via video link this morning.
During a search of the residence, officers allegedly found mobile phones, video recording equipment, prescription drugs and illicit drugs. The registered nurse, who works south of Brisbane, allegedly met women via social media platforms such as Tinder and Snapchat.Sergeant Williams said the man gave his victim the drug benzodiazepine "believed to be obtained through his position as a nurse".
