Ms Fyles said that in the two weeks since the NT reopened its borders, nearly 19,000 people have arrived in the Territory — an average of 1,357 people every day. Ms Fyles said nearly 500 people were currently in mandatory quarantine in the NT: 400 in a former workers' village outside Darwin and 100 in Alice Springs.

Pretty dumb comment Natasha. Don't follow others. That will not win you votes. Learn to manage not block. You are 8b in debt and getting worse. Typical Labour trait to accumulate debt. How about getting positive, pragmatic and solution focussed.

Imagine if all governments handled it like that we might be close to normal now.

Years? Really? And how to do you expect money to come in? If a vaccine is not found we close the borders indefinitely?

NT are only one young Victorian refugee away from an outbreak. Close the borders

Let’s turn off handing them a share of our GST then or sell NT to China.

Good luck propping up your economy NT.

Where is the money coming from? Uranium

Clive will want to visit now. Better close all the pie shops to discourage him

Good

Chief Health Officer was warned St Basil's order would jeopardise careOne of the most distressing episodes of Melbourne’s aged care outbreaks – the neglect of residents after staff were directed by Professor Brett Sutton to stay at home – should have been avoided, says the chairman of St Basil’s, Kon Kontis. Locking down old folks homes has killed close to half a million pple around the world, why would Sutton continue to do it here. Sutton is lauded as a hero, he's an incompetent menace This reads like a distraction from the core issue. The real question for Kontis is why all safety precautions were clearly not taken to prevent staff infecting vulnerable elderly residents at St Basils? What were their safety protocols & what equipment did they supply to staff? Sutton should be sacked like Dan.

St Basils knew this was a risk and had no contingency plan? Not good enough to say not your fault. If I leave the heater on when I go out and start a fire I don’t get to pick a govt minister and say... they should have rung me to remind me to turn it off Victoria is the punchline to every joke June 16 Victoria C-Virus Active cases was less then 380, Today 5400+ BUT Daniel Andrews Ever one Bar hem self.
