Northern Territory Chief Minister Michael Gunner says it would probably be “impossible” to end the territory’s COVID outbreak altogether despite no new COVID cases being recorded.

“We have succeeded in suppressing the outbreak; we have not succeeded in ending it altogether,” Mr Gunner said during a media conference on

Tuesday.“For our future decision making, we will have more of a focus on the rate and scope of the spread rather than just the number of new cases.”
