This officer is a hero! I have no doubt he'll be found not guilty and back out serving the community in no time.

Very sad someone has died. Seems strange a murder charge so quick yet out on bail. Will be interesting to see the defence, body cams. Wonder why the medical staff left the settlement? Many many more questions which I assume will be answered

Shooting should be an absolute last resort, and I am not trying to victim blame/shame here, but curious what: a) he was on a suspended sentence for; and b) what he allegedly did to breach his suspended sentence. Seems to have become lost in the narrative shuffle.

Disgraceful waste of police resources. This bloke is not a killer. The dead criminal was asking for it. Just out of jail. Removes ankle tracker. Lunges at cops with blade. What did he expect? A lollipop?

Sadly the it will be poorly investigated

How many tools have they got as a restraint before the use of extreme force, including a country with the toughest firearms Laws in the World. Do they do baton training? Hand on hand combat? Was the offender armed?

Ridiculous! Will never be a conviction. What is wrong with the Northern Territory Government. NTDPP ntpolice ntpol auspol

But lets make him look like a saint, chasing any photo that shows him as the perfect law abiding police officer. But lets not tell people he is a racist pig and clearly trigger happy.
