Mr Dominello joked the Independent Commission Against Corruption should actually investigate why the former Premier of New South Wales decided to begin a relationship with Mr Maguire back in 2015.
“Like that’s the first question. I still can’t get over that like there should be an independent commission against going out with Daryl.” The tongue-in-cheek comment came ahead of Mr Maguire’s appearance at the ICAC inquiry into Ms Berejiklian on Thursday. “I’ve just got the utmost respect for Glad. I think her integrity is just … She is one of the most honest, hardest working politicians I’ve ever met,” Mr Dominello replied.The Customer Services Minister admitted Ms Berejiklian is going through a “challenging” time after stepping down from the state’s top job amid the ICAC inquiry.
