NSW moves to block Sydney Black Lives Matter protest from going ahead

NSW Police will apply for an injunction from the Supreme Court to stop Saturday's Black Lives Matter protests going ahead on Saturday.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said approval was given earlier in the week for what they thought would be a small gathering. thousands of people flagrantly More than 10,000 people have indicated they will attend the rally starting at Sydney's Town Hall on the Facebook event page. Protests against police brutality and Indigenous deaths in custody are also planned in Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, and Melbourne on Saturday.

Every couple of months NSW shows it’s true colours.

Gladys obviously thinks that black lives don’t matter. Then again, after rubyprincess it seems like she doesn’t care much about the rest of us either!

Lower risk of catching covid outside, as long as you social distance, sanitize and wear a mask. This is about allblacklives matter not just American blacks, and this decision shows at the least lack of sensitivity in a highly inflamed period or at the worst racism.
