NSW marks major COVID-19 milestone as Victoria deaths spike

Thousands of residents are coming forward for the booster program with 35.1 per cent now triple dosed.

Vaccinations have stalled for the aged 12 to 15-year-old cohort with figures sitting at 82.8 per cent with one jab and 78.3 per cent with two shots. Students have come out in droves since the rollout began for the younger population aged 5 to 11-years-old with 31 per cent with at least one dose ahead of a return to face-to-face learning at the end of the month.Deaths have also increase from the previous day with 35 fatalities in the latest reporting period.

There are 1,089 residents receiving care in hospital, up by 30, with 113 in intensive care - down by six on the previous day.We thank everyone who got vaccinated and tested yesterday.More data soon:
