NRL coronavirus news updates: Roosters move round two game to Leichhardt

The Sydney Roosters have announced that their round two clash with the Manly Sea Eagles has been moved from Central Coast Stadium and will now be played at Leichhardt Oval.

“We feel that minimising travel for all parties is an important precaution, and extend our thanks to the NRL, Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles and Fox Sports for working with us to make this happen,” added Mr Johnstone.NRL CEO Todd Greenberg and head of football Graham Annesley have addressed the media at Rugby League Central to provide an update on the COVID-19 situation.

"We have commissioned a biosecurity expert and that work is well underway and will be communicated back to the ARLC later this week. When asked if players could be forced to take pay cuts, Greenberg said:"I didn't say they wouldn't be paid, I said there are provisions in our contracts with our players under the CBA, a material adverse change provision so if the revenues of the game drop it allows us to go back and have a discussion with the players about the CBA.
