NRL 2020: Gold Coast Titans stun Brisbane Broncos with comeback win in Redcliffe

After Dale Copley scored in the corner in the 56th minute, completing five tries in 26 minutes for the Titans, the result never looked in doubt.

Brisbane’s frustrations got the better of them in the 68th minute when Thomas Flegler’s dropped ball led to a push and shove with Jarrod Wallace as both teams came running together. Halfback Brodie Croft looked sharp as the main playmaker in attack while Haas was the dominant forward on the ground without much back-up support.Croft had his hands on the ball at every opportunity and while his kicking game lacked penetration at times it’s clear he will run the Broncos attack in 2020 with a dangerous right side featuring Tevita Pangai Jr and centre Kotoni Staggs set to see plenty of action.

Hooker Jake Turpin took the ball from the scrum to run left, but spun on the spot and darted over the line without being touched for a 12-0 lead.
