Folau, who qualifies for Tonga through his heritage, switched to rugby union in 2013 where he linked up with current Wallabies coach Michael Cheika at the Waratahs.
He made his debut for the Wallabies later that year, where he announced himself on the world stage by scoring a brace of tries on debut against the British and Irish Lions in Brisbane.He appeared at the 2015 World Cup, where he started at fullback in the 2015 final.A week before being stood down by the NSW Waratahs and Rugby Australia in April, he became Super Rugby’s greatest tryscorer by crossing for his 60th try against the Blues.
