Djokovic will be allowed to be at his lawyer's office on Saturday, but will be under the supervision of two Australian Border Force officers. 9News

The tennis star's lawyer, at an urgent hearing before Judge Anthony Kelly of the Federal Circuit and Family Court on Friday night, said every minute was "extremely precious" in the "extraordinary circumstances" given the tournament begins on Monday.

Djokovic will be allowed to be at his lawyer's office on Saturday, but will be under the supervision of two Australian Border Force officers and will be kept in detention on Saturday night. He will be allowed to return to be with his legal team on Sunday for the planned hearing over the visa cancellation.Mr Wood was scathing of the time it took the minister to make the decision to cancel the Serb's visa, drawing attention to the fact it was only made late on Friday.

"The minister only considers the potential for exciting anti-vax sentiment if he is present," he said.It had been expected the Serbian tennis star would fight Mr Hawke's decision, which was announced just before 6pm on Friday. "The Morrison Government is firmly committed to protecting Australia's borders, particularly in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic."

It is possible Djokovic will not be able to return to Australia for three years following the decision, as Judge Kelly confirmed in court on Monday when the possibility of the minister cancelling Djokovic's visa was raised that such a ban could occur. However, the Australian Government could use its discretion to not apply that ban to the tennis star.

"If he's going to do him on character, because they believe that his submission has been lied on, then, you know, this is what we do when our kids play up at school. They get sent home.

Really So he is a flight risk🤣🤣🤣

Novak opened a can of worms that can not be stopped. Alex Hawke has acted on his own ideology with no medical training whatsoever. This is about democracy and law being annihilated at high levels of Augov by ScottMorrisonMP against the Court Orders.AusOpen HillsongCult auspol

Hit the road DjokerNole Time to go home!

Will he be prosecuted because of providing false infor in entry declaration form

So does this means Novak is banned from entering Australia for 3 years? If so, I believe the “penalty does not fit the crime”. Covid has won again.

They really need the border force over his head don't they.. coz DjokerNole deep down is thinking he wants 2be an illegal alien on the run, in a country full of pricks that love tyranny, discriminate and are happy to throw you under the bus for having a mind and use it freely.

why? where do you really think Novak Djokovic is likely to do a runner? Losing faith in our government with every stuff up of this saga.

Will he be in handcuffs and shackles?

Goodness, will it ever end

Gotta love all the anti vaxer comments. Seriously can we just get rid of this lying joke of a clown. He really is making a mockery of tennis.

Super privileged.

Yeah? I see the tennis player is now a massive threat to Australian borders .. take his tennis rackets too .. 🙄🙄🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆

Vaxxed or unvaxxed…it’s spreadable either way. As for his declaration…we granted him a visa & then cancelled it…question if he was an American tennis player…would the minister have cancelled his visa ?

Looking forward to waving goodbye for at least 3 years.

Scott will now cancell democracy tomorrow at 12 oclock because it is causing the spread of covid, which all Australians have fought so hard over the last 2 years to stop. To enforce this Border force will also arrest all Australians at 12 oclock tomorrow to stop its spread...

Yeah be careful. Tennis players can be highly dangerous.

Australia is embarrassed ! He is healthy! He is better than those jabbed! Jabbed are infectious and could be infected! He is a hero!

Bye-bye.

Joke of a country!!

And so he should with his current record
