If it wasn’t a financial imperative the NRL would not be pursuing this.
Money Money it's what it is, when they said the NRL was going a head with out the supports bums on seats, my thought went straight to 9 and Fox Sports, pressuring the NRL, the amount of money being lost by both of them would be lots and lots of $.
