The red and white stickers indicate products that will not be subject to a price rise. Their introduction to stores comes after it was announced the cost of 150 household favourite products would be "locked" until January 31, 2023.
Leah Weckert, Coles' Chief Executive of Commercial and Express, said the move is designed to give customers certainty. "Our locked campaign has been successful because customers can clearly identify products that won't go up in price until at least the end of January 2023. Some of the popular brands that are included in the move are: Steggles, Kleenex, Golden Circle, Kellogg's, Bulla, Pepsi, Masterfoods, Cadbury, Handee and Whiskas, as well as Coles Free Range Chicken Breast and Coles Beef Scotch Fillet Thin Sliced 400g.
