The NSW Coroners Court heard on Monday from the man who appeared in a Facebook photo kissing a missing teenager | gmitch_news

On Monday, Darren Denning wiped his eyes as he told the NSW Coroners Court that he was the man in the photo and he had no idea Katrina was missing until his cousin contacted him several months ago."It was a bit distressing, really, because I only met her once, maybe twice, if that," Mr Denning said. "I was at work that day, I get a call from my cousin, she's like 'what's going on bro, this is you'.

"I tried looking at the photo millions of times, thousands of times. I don't remember," Mr Denning said. In a bizarre day of evidence, two former occupants of the boarding house had to be reminded by Deputy State Coroner Carmel Forbes to stay calm as they were questioned about their interactions with Katrina in 2012.NSW Police

When asked to be more specific with some of his answers, Mr McCully said: "This was eight years ago. Mate, I can't even remember what I had for dinner yesterday."During his evidence Mr McCully called Katrina's father Maiko Bohnenkamp a "f--kin' clown", said he was going to make a phone call to his QC, and asked if it was a crime to have friends on Facebook.
