A Queensland mother-of-five had ‘turned her life around’ before her tragic death on a busy Gold Coast highway, her grieving family says.

On Tuesday, Ms Macrokanis’s family shared their grief over her sudden death in a post seeking donations her young children left behind. “While Tammara hadn’t been dealt the easiest path in life, she recently turned her life around and was doing amazing. We were all so proud of her. “We ask that you please support us in laying Tammara at rest and providing her with a farewell she deserves. Any additional funds raised will support us in bringing justice for Tammara and supporting her children in their healing journey ahead,” the post said.
