Amid lingering controversy over the sale of Darwin Port to a Chinese company, Scott Morrison says a new $1.5 billion facility would be used by the military.

Scott Morrison is signalling that a proposed commercial port in Darwin bankrolled by the federal government would be used by the military after it ruled out tearing up a Chinese company’s 99-year lease over theCampaigning on Tuesday in Darwin, he also indicated support for the thrust of a proposed pandemic treaty giving the World Health Organisation greater powers, although stopped short of saying he would sign it, should he win the election.

Though the Defence Department reviewed the lease last year, it found there were no security grounds to terminate the deal. “This is going to revolutionise the Northern Territory with the infrastructure that is going to be built here.”Ministers previously have been less firm than Mr Morrison, only going as far as saying the port could also have a military use alongside its commercial purposes.

Scott Morrison continues to defend superannuation housing policy amid Labor criticism – videoMorrison rebuffs criticism his Super Home scheme is a gamble Why would you let anyone take money from their super? That’s their retirement fund, not their housing fund. Complete and utter stupidity from Morrison who should know better. Desperation. I saw the Canstar calculations showing that the LNP plan would cost homebuyers $1000 more per month than the Labor plan on a $900k loan. That's an extra $450k across the life of the loan.

The Buffalo mass shooting comes amid rise in racial violence in USHate-based crime has been getting worse in recent years, largely cultivated in the cauldron of darkest reaches of the internet Actually largely cultivated in the bright glare of MSNBC cable TV shows. Their obsession with race is so destructive. It the shooter was a POC they would be dead. Pure result of left-wing diversity politics, they just love to divide people into categories based on their race, gender and sexuality. And of course the media loves to contribute to it all, purely for the sake of creating 'headlines'
