Prime Minister Scott Morrison has defended US President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw US troops from northern Syria.
The US president claimed sending troops to the Middle East was the worst mistake America had ever made. Responding to the announcement, Mr Morrison said “this is a sovereign decision” for Mr Trump, adding he would not make broad commentary on whether withdrawing troops was a right or wrong decision.
