"It's all very perplexing, we don't know what's happened. Umqali's a good mother and she's always been really good and protective." Mr Clark said investigations would consider "all sorts of things" including whether there were genetic factors involved."Superficially it looks like an external factor, it looks like a trauma. She may have tried running through a gate with her mother and got pressed into a wall," he said."We are looking for other underlying reasons."
