She knows better than that. Poor decisions are made when you're drunk.

Michelle Bridges is so up herself she has doubled her weight, Special alright, special level hubris

More than most she could have afforded a taxi or an Uber, she has millions. and her 5 year old was in the back so honestly we should have child services looking at whether or not she is a fit mother

Another so called celebrity bits the dust...

' .....who has given so much of their time and their life to the community.' No she didn't - The lawyer and I have different views on giving to the community She charged each and every single person that's why she's worth over $12mil. Giving to the community= doing it for free

For all the defenders of this ... person? ... she could have just as easily driven into a bunch of kids. Remember that whenever you’re waving banners calling for leniency. This judge is a legend. Michelle Bridges is not.

All over now the judge has handed down the result, let her get on with her life

The only ones she should ask forgiveness from is her son and his father. Hopefully she will grow from this....social media have short memories

Why is in the news? Shaming someone makes you get a high

It’s drunk driving — she was drinking to be legally over the limit when alleged to have been pulled over by police 🚔 Proper term for a DUI or impaired driver

Must send her to jail

“Error of judgement “ are you serious? You could have caused a major accident & your child was innocently in the back🤬Please get help. Accident error judgement impaired no michellebridges breakup BreakingNews walkdontdrivedrunk

So Michelle, like sam_armytage didn't own a Holden either?

It is unfortunate Bridges because the child was in the car. If it was without the child you would have just been another Heartbreak Kid.

Would like to know the punishment for this law breaker not the outfit it was wearing

You can’t plead not guilty if you’ve been caught with a positive breath and blood test - why would she plead not guilty ?

So is she not fun anymore?

Peer pressure needed to spark electric vehicle sales in AustraliaAustralia’s sluggish uptake of electric vehicles is driven as much by peer pressure as practical factors such as purchase price and operating costs. 💤 When I can drive from Sydney to the Gold Coast and know that I can reliably recharge my car in 5 minutes then I will happily go electric. How much does it cost to replace all of the batteries in an electric car? Australia has big distances and car based holidays. The problem is finding something that matches the needs, not peer pressure. The 4wd and work ute users may involve peer pressure, but again more likely lack of realistic alternatives.

Axing of Holden is 'a day of great shame for Australia' | Sky News AustraliaSky News contributor Nicholas Reece says “I think it’s a day of great shame for Australia,” following Monday’s announcement General Motors will axe iconic brand Holden after 72 years of operation in the nation. \n\nGM International Operations Senior Vice President Julian Blissett released a statement explaining financial woes have led to the demise of Holden.\n\nThe shutdown is expected to cost at least 600 jobs as General Motors ceases making vehicles suitable for Australian roads. \n\nIt comes three years after local manufacturing ended when the Holden plant in Adelaide was closed. \n\n'It’s not just the end of a great Australian business but it’s the end of an era I think,' Mr Reece told Sky News host Peta Credlin. \n\nImage: Getty It was sad but inevitable. Ford wouldve gone the same way had it not come up with the ranger and fleet deals with the mondeo and fiesta/focus Thanks Joe! All Holden had to do was make a Car the us Aussies wanted to buy. Every business lives and dies by its bottom line. I liked the fact we tried to bale them out over many years. But the truth always catches up. GM never gave a shit about Australia. AND I just bought one, :(

Holden killed by ‘highly fragmented right-hand-drive markets’ | Sky News AustraliaGeneral Motors has blamed “highly fragmented right-hand-drive markets” for the downfall of Holden which will cost hundreds of jobs.\n\nGM International Operations Senior Vice President Julian Blissett has released a statement explaining the financial woes leading to the demise of Holden.\n\n“Through its proud 160-year history, Holden has not only made cars, it has been a powerful driver of the industrialisation and advancement of Australia and New Zealand,” Mr Blissett. \n\n“Over recent years, as the industry underwent significant change globally and locally, we implemented a number of alternative strategies to try to sustain and improve the business, together with the local team.” \n\nGeneral Motors also said it undertook a “detailed analysis” of the investment required for Holden to be competitive.\n\n “After comprehensive assessment, we regret that we could not prioritise the investment required for Holden to be successful for the long term in Australia and New Zealand, over all other considerations we have globally,” Mr Blissett. \n\n“This decision is based on global priorities and does not reflect the hard work, talent and professionalism of the Holden team.” \n\nThe shutdown is expected to cost at least 600 jobs as General Motors ceases making vehicles suitable for Australian roads. \n\nIt comes three years after local manufacturing ended when the Holden plant in Adelaide was closed. \nGeneral Motors will no longer produce any right-hand vehicles after 72 years of business in Australia.\n They had no V8. That’s the reason no one bought that Eurotrash they forced on us. Wheres the PM and McCormack to protect the jobs. Surely they must care. Its all about protecting jobs. Jobs must be protected at all costs. Wait, Nope, not mining. Workers are on their own.

Cockatoo Island must be kept for the people of SydneyThe future of Sydney’s Cockatoo Island is back in the news, with a proposal to attract private investors already stirring deep emotions here in the harbour city. Might be worth mentioning that Lucy Turnbull is involved in this. No isnt! Only if you live in Sydney by the Harbour. Can i guess that the taxpayers will be asked to chip in to a project of no benefit to most of them? Why should we grant a private company the right to profit from a public asset that we hold as part of our public equity. We shouldn't. It's the 13C Enclosures in 21C garb. auspol ausdef mkr qanda
