An alleged criminal underworld figure has been extradited to Sydney and faces charges for a public shooting and a separate kidnapping and stabbing in Sydney’s west. 7 NEWS

Bullets narrowly missed hitting children in a creche attached to the gym in the allegedly targeted shooting.

As the shots were fired, the children were seen running and crawling towards a carer.Photos from inside the centre show bullet holes in the wall, near where the children had been playing.One man was injured in the shooting, with a group of men seen scrambling into the gym as shots rang out.
