the incident started after Storm winger Suliasi Vunivalu was allegedly coward punched inside the bar by the same person later involved in the fight with Asofa-Solomona.Vunivalu and Asofa-Solomona have formed a strong friendship in their years together at the Storm.
Asofa-Solomona finished the NRL season as one of the game's most damaging props and he was among the Storm's best players in the late season and the run through the finals.The club released a statement on Sunday night confirming it had referred the matter to the NRL and were investigating it themselves.
"The Storm takes these type of incidents very seriously and will not be making any further public comment at this time," the statement read.
