Residents in Melbourne’s northwest have woken up to find their car tyres had been slashed.“I felt shocked when I realised what had actually happened and can’t believe someone would do that for some sort of enjoyment,” the resident, who chose to remain anonymous, told 7NEWS.com.au.
“At first I thought I had just run over a rock or a nail, but then I went around to the other side of the car and saw all four tyres were flat,” she said. “Police have been walking around the area for hours, knocking on doors and talking to victims. They told me about 100 cars have been affected now, with more expected.”
