NSW Treasurer Matt Kean is “just plain wrong” on the issue of nuclear energy, says Sky News host Peta Credlin.

Mr Kean told ABC’s Insiders programme that nuclear energy was like “pursuing a fantasy” and “chasing a unicorn” as it didn’t stack up economically or practically – nuclear being three times more expensive than coal. “That, coming from the bloke spending $3 billion of taxpayer money on unproven, so-called ‘green hydrogen’,” Ms Credlin said.

“In poll after poll, the majority of Australian voters say they support a national debate about nuclear power for this country.
