“Police have been told a 45-year-old man entered a licenced premises in Lake St, Caroline Springs just after 8am where he had a dispute with staff,” Victoria Police said in a statement today.

The man, from the nearby suburb of Derrimut, was arrested shortly after the alleged “incident” at a licensed premises, reportedly the Sugar Gum Hotel, on Gourlay Rd in Hillside.Officers are conducting safety checks at both locations.
