The Sydney registry of the Family Court and Federal Circuit Court has been closed after a legal practitioner tested positive for COVID-19.

The Sydney-based family law practitioner was in the Lionel Bowen Building in Goulburn Street on Tuesday March 10 and Thursday March 12. Eddie Obeid, his son Moses and Ian Macdonald are accused of conspiring over a coal licence for the Obeid family farm in the Bylong Valley when Mr Macdonald was mining minister.
