Deputy Labor Leader RichardMarlesMP says his party lost the vote of working Australians at the May election because billshortenmp was offering “handouts rather than hope”.

Deputy Labor Leader Richard Marles has declared the party lost the vote of working Australians at the May election, because Bill Shorten was offering “handouts rather than hope”.

“We won’t win the next election simply relying on a big spending agenda nor running on the policies of the past in glossy brochures promising a solution to everything for everyone,” he said. The imminent review of Labor’s 2019 election performance, due next week, has sparked an influx of competing views about the party’s policy direction.

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp For those who could see past the ends of their noses, there was plenty to make us hopeful. Now we have plenty to make us depressed.

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp Handouts? You call tax grabs of $384b a handout? Delusional again. Nothing changes

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp Hey hey, don’t tell me the penny has finally dropped with one of them Bloody amazing 🤓

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp Labor were believing to well after the election that their policies were right

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp Is that what they call tax grabs in the Labor party - handouts

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp I’m not sure what that even means

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp Not so. billshortenmp doesn’t come across as authentic but the policies promised were very good

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp Went with the wrong leader, plus needed to tweak some policies.

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp I believe most people are like me. I’ve voted both Lib and Labor. My vote goes to whom I think offers the best chance of a well managed economy. I didn’t trust Shorten or his “team”. They were the same people who ruined our economy before.

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp Really?

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp And Billy wants to stay in Govt for the next 20y! Good on Labour to take his ideas on and then make him leader of the ALP! You guys picked him, ran with his ideas and lost! What a bunch of followers you all are!

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp No because you guys were being woke carrying on about the rights of a small amount of LGBGT people over the majority of everyday Australians.

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp Labor lost the vote of working Australians when it abandoned them for identity politics activism, the greens, political correctness, progressive liberalism and supporting illegal immigration at every opportunity through weakening border control.

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp The irony is that the more Muslim immigrants come in, the harder it becomes for Labor to win office. These people are conservative and do not agree with a lot of the Labor agenda i.e. safe schools etc. You only have to see what is happening in theUK.

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp Hey RichardMarlesMP how many calories does “hope” add to a human’s minimum daily dietary requirements. AustralianLabor AlboMP this is crazy.

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp And higher taxes for those not getting a handout plus making Baby Boomers out to be rich bludgers

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp Bill Shorten is the kind of person who makes me change stations whenever he comes on the TV or radio. He comes across as an untrustworthy inconsistent liar who will say anything to anyone to get what he wants, and his manner is just plain objectionable.

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp Actually the labor party, you included, were doing that. Take some responsibility yourself. Never heard you come out during the election and say 'we are going doen the wrong path here'

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp Fairdinkum people like you are the problem with the Labor party Marles.

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp Cancer treatment, dental care for the elderly, a energy policy, solar panels for schools. Fuck that. I want my franking credit which isn't a handout BTW!!

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp RichardMarlesMP ... nice commentary. Im now following

RichardMarlesMP billshortenmp Shortens biggest critic was the camera that’s why tony Burke should be labor leader because he smashes that camera into thousands of pieces no one can defeat Burke at an election auspol
