Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has apologised after an image surfaced of him dressed in brownface for a costume party.
The photo from 2001 shows the prime minister at an Arabian Nights themed event when he was a teacher. The release of the image comes at an awkward time for Mr Trudeau who is up for re-election in five weeks.
